Aurora Museum & Archives is pleased to announce Aurora Through the Archives, an engaging multi-site exhibition taking place in Aurora through the end of June.

Aurora Through the Archiveis part of the 2024 CONTACT Photography Festival and features thematically curated archival photography on display at the Aurora Armoury (outdoors), Hillary House National Historic Site, and Royal Rose Gallery & Gifts.

Aurora’s inaugural entry into the festival encourages visitors to explore public and private spaces in Aurora while viewing archival images dating from the 1870s to 1980s.

The exhibition will be on view from May 7 – June 30 and was curated in partnership with Maddison Dearlove-Marshall, Amanda Jenkins, and Sophie Langille, Master of Master of Museum Studies students from the University of Toronto.
